Peter Iltis
| Dr.
Peter Iltis holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the
University of Kansas where his doctoral work focused on blood
lipid responses to exercise training. His undergraduate and
masters degrees were both from the University of Kansas.
Dr. Iltis teaching responsibilities in the department consist
of basic and advanced courses in exercise physiology, several
selected topics courses pertaining to clinical exercise physiology,
and the supervision of student research. In addition, he teaches
French horn for the Department of Music.
His interdisciplinary
interests have guided his own research which currently focuses
on the characterization of focal task-specific dystonia by
electromyography. In addition, he is conducting research on
cycling efficiency using a newly engineered cycle crank system. These
