Professor Tshudy's Sabbatical
II spent my sabbatical the Institute for Green Science at Carnegie Mellon University. The focus of the research was the application of TAML (Tetra Amido Macrocylic Ligands) in the destruction of organic pollutants. Specifically the compounds of interest were nonylphenol and a class of compounds know as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI).
