Physical Therapy PT school. Nice choice. I had neighbors once who were both physical therapists. Back around 1997 they moved to Boca Raton and are living large with all the elderly folk down there needing their services. Some info: As of 2004, 50% of schools offer master's level degrees and 54% of schools offer a doctorate level degree. By 2020, the doctorate will probably be the standard of choice for physical therapists. There is not yet a centralized application process, although some schools have on-line application resources. Schools look for # of volunteer hours as well as strength of your undergrad preparation. 75% of schools have shared prerequisites (which means 25% are oddballs, I guess). -CS Link |
