          DASV: 2 Thessalonians 1

1 From Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy;
To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and
the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus
Christ.

3 We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, and
rightly so, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love
of each one of you for one another is also increasing.
4 Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God
for your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and afflictions
which you are undergoing.
5 This is the evidence of the righteous judgment of God; to the
end that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for
which you also suffer.
6 For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict
you,
7 and provide relief for you who are being afflicted, when the Lord
Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.
8 With flaming fire he will inflict vengeance on those who do not
know God, and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction away from
the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might.
10 When he comes on that day, he will be glorified among his saints,
and admired by all those who have believed, indeed you did believe
our testimony to you.
11 To this end we pray for you always, that our God may make you
worthy of his calling, and fulfill every good desire and work of
faith, with power,
12 that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and
you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus
Christ.
