Holy Sacrifices
Get sins forgiven
Some--burnt Whole
Grain--gets no leaven
Guilt--must repay
Sin--can be doves
Fellowship--feeds all
but don’t drink bloods
Aaron’s the priest
ordained and oiled
Nadab’s killed
holy fire, he’s broiled
Kosher food
split hoofs and chew the cuds
Fish with fins and scales
But don’t eat bugs
No weasels, rats, lizards,
or birds of prey
Don’t touch them dead
Be holy I say
Unclean birth,
skin disease or fungus
No unclean flows
must be found among us
Feasts in the spring
Passover, Weeks, Mas-sot (Massot=Feast of Unleavened Bread;
Weeks=Pentecost)
Feasts in the fall
Trumpets, Kippur, Suk-kot (Kippur=Day of Atonement, Sukkot=Feast
of Tabernacles)
Seven Sabbatical years
Bring in the Jubilee
Blessings and cursings
So holy we’ll be
